For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? They will not ever mix and there will be constant friction in the marriage , as well as in child rearing.
But what about being friends with non-believers? This may be what Paul referred to when he said that light and darkness do not mix.
